How I Came to be in a Band at a Renaissance Festival

Often life moves so quickly and seemlessly that we find ourselves wondering how we get somewhere. In this post I reflect on how, in the past 5 ro so years, I came to play concertina in a pirate band called Scales and Crosstones.

Fried Green Tomatoes are relatively new to me, but the first time I had them was inspiring! See the recipe that I came up with after tasting these savory little critters! I'll give you a hint: it includes savory pan fried green tomatoes, creamy cheese, crispy arugula, and a slightly sweet balsamic vinegar reduction! You'll never go back from this recipe.

The Disillusionment of the Indie Video Game

Justin and I love to play video games of all kinds. But it can also be very discouraging to compare big name games like Assassin's Creed to the work we do creating our own games. Turns out, our expectations may be set a bit too high with the resources we have available. Worry not, that will not deter us, but it may change our perspective a bit.

I apologize in advance if I'm less diligent about posting in the next few weeks as we will be performing both Saturday and Sunday each weekend through May and then an additional weekend in June. Virginia Ren Faire (or VARF as we call it) is crazy busy and it exhausting but so much fun! Come on out and see us!!
